She shut the door to her car unceremoniously, pulling her cell phone out of her pocket as it started to vibrate. “I held up my end of the bargain, Klaus. Now it’s your turn to do the same.”
“I surely intend to.” The brunette rolled her eyes as she walked up the paved walkway; she could hear the smirk in his voice.
“If that’s the case, then I don’t see why you asked me to come to your house.”
“You’ll see.”

“What do you want, Kol?”

“I’m not going to repeat myself, Mikaelson,” she says, her voice tinged with impatience.
Kol purses his lips and rocks back onto his heels casually. ”I just want to know… why you would risk coming back home to see your big bros when you went through all that trouble to persuade me to wipe their memories of you.”
She smiles, a Mona Lisa smile if there ever was one. ”Well, that’s for me to know and for you to… dot dot dot.”
